| "The session on creating tools for teaching was very beneficial because these hands on activities helped us learn how to teach our lessons in a different way through different learning styles." |

"I am indeed thankful for the strategies that Active Intelligence has shared with me. Coming from a background where I was forced to learn/recite timetable by heart I was never taught nor realised such simple yet useful strategies. Its my first year teaching timetable from the basics with pupils who do not have much prior knowleadge.
Techniques for the 9 timetables skip counting as well as the 8 timetables help a lot when I tried it out with them! My weaker pupils can now recite/list down in less than 30 seconds. Their weaker timetables became 6 and 7 timetables instead.
One of my weaker pupils, Shamsul even showed and taught his mother what he has learnt. His parents described how excited he was when they spoke to me yesterday. From the feedback of the Primary 3 teachers and Mathematics HOD, this batch of P3s is rather weak and active thus I guess such strategies will come in handy."

Hi Michael
"Just to let you know that I tried some of the 'tactile' and 'kinesthetic' strategies for a compre review lesson this work. Wow- the students were actually engaged, and on a hot afternoon, too! The ones who normally sleep were actually awake..."

"The hand actions helped to keep my students’ interest when usually, they will only pay attention for about 5 minutes.”
